Hop on board for the first stop of the EISC IKON Express for the 2025-26 ski season and be ready to Rock the Boat-Steamboat Ski Resort more precisely! Sixteen super, savvy EISC club members jumped aboard this trip offering at the Spring Picnic, leaving just 14 trip member openings. This trip offers unique cost savings options and the flexibility to use either an IKON Resort Pass or group priced Steamboat Ski Resort multi-day lift passes. Planes, trains and automobiles, it’s all up to how you decide to travel to this remarkable destination.

Our accommodations will be handled by The Lodge at Steamboat.

An ultra convenient location at the base the Steamboat Ski Village area, a block from the gondola. The condos are configured, such that, we have reserved three 3BR/3BTH and three 2BR/2BTH units. All units feature fully-equipped kitchens, patio/balcony, free WiFi and free parking for one vehicle per unit, think carpool people. Also available to quests, are four outdoor hot tubs, one indoor hot tub, heated outdoor pool, ski lockers, clubhouse and on-site front desk. Complimentary ski season shuttle service can ferry you to the mountain or around Steamboat Springs.

The most recent time EISC sipped the Champagne Powder(R) of Steamboat Ski Resort was 2018, much has evolved since then. The parent company for Steamboat, Alterra, pumped 200 million dollars in recent resort improvements and reconfiguration.  In total, Steamboat Ski Resort now ranks as the second largest, a rise from fifth largest, Colorado ski resort.  It is home to the new Wild Blue Gondola, which is the longest and quickest in NA. An ultra-modern, terrain-based ski development learning center makes The Greenhorn Ranch unique compared to others. Reconfigured side-country ski terrain is now accessible and is comprised of 650 acres of advanced/expert in Mahogany Ridge, that will test any under-torqued dental implant prosthetics. Updated and environmentally conscious snow-making capabilities will make more of the ski terrain available as early as possible. Bragging rights are legitimized, by the fact, Steamboat Skis Resort has 181 trails, 23 lifts and 3741 acres skiable area. Plus, the base area is entirely new, featuring The Range Food and Drink Hall, Skeeters Ice Rink, New Stage and easier access all around.

Let’s remember, Steamboat Skis Resort is more than a resort, it is part of what is referred to as, Ski Town, USA(R). Expand your winter experience by exploring many other activities, such as, hitting the Old Town Hot Springs or head to Strawberry Hot Springs, discover a variety of restaurants, take a winter horseback trail ride with Del’s Triangle 3 Ranch, visit Saddleback Ranch for horseback rides, snow tubing hill and snowmobile tours, head to Haymaker Nordic Center for snow shoe and. Cross country skiing and checkout Howelsen Ice Complex and Howelsen Hill more activities.

Protecting your travel investment with the appropriate travel insurance is highly recommended. Ski.com offers trip insurance and pricing is approximately 8% of the Total Trip Price, which can additionally include the anticipated costs specific to lodging and transportation to and from Steamboat Ski Resort. It is recommended that signing up for trip insurance as soon as possible can help in the accounting for pre-existing conditions. Trip insurance can only be purchased up until the time the traveler makes their final payment, not following the final payment. If you are interested in the coverage, contact Diane or Chip for the necessary personal information requested by Ski.com Group Coordinator and the email link that will allow for the purchase of your trip insurance policy. Regardless of which trip classification you choose, an initial down payment of $600 is due at the time of sign up.

Hope you all give this well priced and high value trip package a serious look over. Diane and I are excited to be able to offer leadership for this respectable offering thanks to the expertise of the EISC Ski Trip Coordinator. Chip and Diane Scholl.
