Annual Soup and Chili Cookoff and Meeting
Saturday, Jan 17 at Wanatee Park, 3:00 to 10:00 pm
It’s time to get out those crock pots and favorite soup and chili recipes, or try a new recipe! Come to the long anticipated, highly competitive, chili and soup cookoff event. Prizes will be awarded for your efforts. Come to the Red Cedar Lodge at Wanatee Park, Marion on Sat Jan 17. Come early to meet your friends and take a winter hike on the park trails, or other indoor activities for more fun.
· We will need help early around 3:00 to set up tables and chairs, as well as clean-up at the end of the night.
· We will eat around 6:00 pm with a short meeting to follow.
· Bring a favorite snack or dessert to share and your own festive beverages. We will provide hot beverages, pop, water, soup bowls, and tableware.

Sign up for the Texas bus trip on May 14-23, 2026. We will require roommate preferences at sign-up. Extra copies of the proposed itinerary will be available. So bring your checkbook to pay the $500 deposit.
