EISC meeting and food drive on Sat Nov 15 at the KC Hall, 1620 E Ave NE, Cedar Rapids.
We will take contributions to benefit the Linn Community Food Bank. Checks/cash or food items are welcomed.
Remember - NO NOT DONATE EXPIRED ITEMS.
CANNED ITEMS: peaches, pears, mixed fruit, soup, chicken, tuna, chili, Spam
BAKING ITEMS: sugar, flour, cooking oil, Jiffy cornbread mix, Jiffy pie crust mix, brownie mixes.
BREAKFAST ITEMS: peanut butter, jelly, pancake mix, syrup, cereal
MEAL ITEMS: pasta, rice, mac & cheese, Hamburger Helper, SpaghettiOs
CHILI BAG ITEMS: chili beans, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili seasoning packets

Bring a food snack to share. Bring fall holiday decorations, pumpkins and gourds to help make a festive atmosphere.
6:30 - we will need volunteers to help set up and take down chairs, and as door workers.
7:00 - Social time begins. We will finalize orders for EISC sweatshirts, t-shirts, and hats for sale.

EISC is planning a tour to Ireland and Scotland in September 2026!
8:00 - member meeting will begin. Our guest speakers will be Denise and Brad Langhoff to tell us about their recent biking adventures in Ireland. Help at the end of the evening to take down tables and chairs.
