EISC Members going on the 6/21/25 High Trestle Bridge Bicycle Ride,
The EISC Board has cancelled the Saturday bike ride event due to the impending dangerous weather (heat index of 107 degrees with winds of 30+ mph).
However, there is an alternative event. The camping is still on with the campers pivoting to lake & beach days at Big Creek Lake (a no wake lake) that has concessions and rentals of paddleboards to pontoon boats.
People can still bicycle if you want, but it will be dangerous heat and is not a club event. The board is sorry to have to make this decision, but the safety of our members has to be a priority. We will look at rescheduling the High Trestle Bridge bike ride later this Fall.
