Stillwater, MN Ski & Adventure Weekend –- Friday, February 13 to Sunday, February 15
Thirteen club members went to Stillwater, MN February 13th-15th. Members met Friday night at the AmericInn for food, fun & games. Thank you to Lori Huff and Jeff Sherman. Saturday, we skied Wild Mountain. Steve Sartori from Minnesota also met up with us for the day. Lori Huff and Diane Anderson hiked trails since snow shoeing was not an option. There was plenty of shopping and sightseeing in Stillwater. Members also had an enjoyable time in the hot tub and pool at the hotel at the end of the day. The entire group met for a wonderful dinner at Gio's Italian Restaurant Saturday night, followed by music and dancing at Ziggy's. Sunday, we skied Welch Village. A new EISC member, Jared Klein from Mt Pleasant, met us there for the day. The snow was surprisingly good. All ski slopes were groomed and very skiable. The weekend temperatures hit 50 degrees which felt like Spring and it was glorious. Thank you to all members who joined this trip!
