On April 26, 2025, the East Iowa Ski Club made a memorable return to the Eagles Club for Post Party!! The last time we had an event at the Eagles was in 2018. They have updated and freshened up the facility and had it ready for us. Mardi Gras was the theme and decorations were spectacular – a huge thanks to LeeAnn Eddins and her crew of Diane Anderson, Teri Barnhart, Dwayne Grote, Tim Gull, and Dawn Novetzke. It was so fun to see all the Mardi Gras costumes, masks, beads, feathers, and bling!!
Over 90 members attended the party, dinner and dance! That has to be close to a record number! A delicious meal was served by Catering by LJ’s, Marion. Prime rib, chicken Oscar, salad and all the sides. A beautifully decorated cake was provided by Jane Sents to celebrate the April Birthdays (and Wendall’s too)!
Steve Cummings, Todd Eadie, and Tim Gull helped us recap the year’s events and recognize all those involved. We had a “send-off” to Mary Day who has retired from the board. It takes a lot of individuals to make all of these memories!
The Last Call Party Band entertained us for the rest of the evening. Dancing continued until midnight. We sure know how to have a good time when we get together!! It was a lot of fun!!
