I am humbled and honored to once again be your club President and excited to see what your board can come up with for another year of adventure trips, ski trips, and special activities. For those that missed our Post Party, Steve, Tim, and Todd spoke about all our trips and activities we did over this last year including our most recent fun New Orleans trip. Thanks again to Wayne and Brenda for running this trip. You can read more about the New Orleans trip later in this Skiddoo issue.
I’ll finish by saying our trips and activities don’t happen without your board who initially plans these trips and activities and especially all those who chair and run these trips and activities. Thank you to all as I also welcome Rosanne to our Board.
I do want to say thank you to everyone who helped me on the New Orleans trip and made sure I could get out and see the many sites we visited. In case not everyone knows, I had a second surgery on January 31st followed by three weeks of radiation. I would not be doing as well as I am without all your thoughts, and prayers and help when I have needed it.
Thank you everyone as I look forward to another great year with our East Iowa Ski Club!
