It finally stopped snowing; let’s celebrate with a bike ride!! Here is all the info:
Where to meet: Gateway Park
Directions: After getting into Waterloo, merge onto 218 N. toward Waterloo/Airport. Go about 9.5 miles and then take IA-57 W. toward Cedar Falls/Uni-Dome. Go about 1.5 miles and turn right onto Main St. Go over the bridge; Gateway Park is on the right.

When: 9:30 AM
Campgrounds: Black Hawk Park – first come, first serve, George Wyth State Park – reservations accepted, Big Woods Lake Campground – reservations accepted. All 3 campgrounds are on the trail.
So, our plan for this year’s route is to wait and see what Mother Nature has planned for us! Only took us 5 years to figure this out :) We do know that we will eat at one of our past rides eating establishments - Single Speed (Waterloo), Peppers, Screaming Eagle, Mulligans, or Whiskey Road. We will start at Gateway Park in Cedar Falls and ride on one of the many scenic trails there are on the Cedar Valley Nature Trail to where we will have lunch, drinks and enjoy the ambience of our surroundings. Then we will make our way back to the Single Speed in CF and celebrate the end of a great day of biking with EISC friends. Of course, you can always stop for dessert at Scratch Cupcakery or even do some shopping at the great little shops in downtown CF :o) No need to sign up, but if you let us know you're coming, we'll be sure to wait for you!
